I went out for a 9-mile run this afternoon, but was defeated by the 80-degree heat we're experiencing here in Seattle. I got to 6 miles and knocked off ... and then promptly drank 10,000 gallons of water to get my hydration back to some semblance of normal. AccuWeather is reporting that the heat will decline over the next few days, and we might actually get some showers come Tuesday. I hope so - I'm really not a "heat" person.
